Upcoming Ukraine Mission Trips
From June 20 to July 2 of 2010, seven CM members travelled to Ukraine and ministered to 112 precious children at an annual Eastern European Outreach summer camp. We had a wonderful time learning about this new culture, language, and people as we spent every waking moment with these kids for a week. Skits, classes (English, Cheerleading, Art, Wrestling, Wood Crafts), Bible studies, and soccer were all part of a regular day with these creative kids. We had many opportunities to share our faith and God’s love with them while at the camp. We have realized how important it is for these children to have godly influences in their lives. The Ukrainian counselors definitely become role models for them, but having foreigners fly from U.S. to just love on them truly makes a huge impact.
Calvary Murrieta and EEO are looking for future team members to join in this ministry to the Ukrainian youth. We have a number of upcoming trips that you can join this next year.
